what is dnft® ?
DNFT® (Directional Non-Force Technique) is the chiropractic technique used to make spinal corrections at our practice. DNFT® is the original low-force method of chiropractic, discovered in 1923 by Dr. Richard Van Rumpt of California.
This technique requires NO CRACKING, POPPING, OR TWISTING of your neck or back. Rather, we perform gentle, directionally specific challenges to different structures of your body, then perform leg reflex checks which allow your body’s natural reaction to indicate if a subluxation (a misalignment causing nerve interference) is present. When a subluxation is found, we address it with a low force and directionally specific thumb impulse in the appropriate location – this can correct the misalignment, bring balance to the body’s bony and soft tissue structures, and provide the relief you are looking for.
With this incredibly gentle technique, our doctors at Hainesport Chiropractic are proud to offer this safe, unique healing modality to ALL their patients, children to seniors! SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT and see for yourself how this most advanced chiropractic technique can help change your life today!
